Invitation and onboarding journeys
Plan how customers receive access, establish an account, and arrive at the correct project.
03 / CUSTOMER PORTAL DEVELOPMENT
Custom customer and client portals that bring the right project information, conversations, and next steps into one place.
Explore our approachA customer portal can reduce the need to search through email threads for the latest preview, document, or project update. SectorBuilt designs client workspaces around what customers need to see and what your team needs to manage.
The experience starts with a defined relationship: who the customer is, which organization and projects they belong to, and what they should be able to access. Those boundaries shape the account model and the interface together.
Plan how customers receive access, establish an account, and arrive at the correct project.
Give customers a place to evaluate a proposed website or application while the work is being developed.
Keep the relevant files, release notes, questions, and review comments alongside the project.
Define who can invite reviewers, assign projects, change visibility, and remove access when a relationship changes.
For one business, the first useful portal may be a place to review a website concept. For another, it may be a workspace for project documents, order updates, or approval steps. The right scope follows the relationship and the information customers repeatedly ask for.
Authentication, permissions, data storage, and privacy requirements are implementation decisions that must be agreed and tested before customer access goes live. A visual preview helps shape the experience; it does not by itself create a secure production portal. SectorBuilt’s own hosted client workspace is currently marked coming soon while that backend is prepared.
That is a core requirement for a tailored customer portal. Organization membership, project assignment, and server-side authorization need to be designed and verified together.
Yes. A private preview can give prospective customers a concrete experience to evaluate and a place to share feedback before the next phase is agreed.
Not yet. The hosted client workspace is a coming-soon page. Account creation and project invitations will be enabled when the backend is ready.
